Role: Teaching Assistant- SEN

Location: Pulborough

Responsibilities

* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language needs.
* Support the class teacher in planning and delivering adapted learning activities.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
* Help create a safe, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and SENCOs.
* Foster independence and confidence in all learners.

Requirements

* Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting.
* A positive, patient, and resilient approach to support.
* Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Two professional references from recent educational or care settings.
