Your Role:

• Providing teaching and support to pupils with autism, following individualized curricula
• Planning and delivering lessons focused on life skills
• Supporting pupils in trips and applying learning in practical settings
• Providing behaviour support to improve quality of life
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene
• Monitoring pupil progress and ensuring effective teaching
• Supporting breaktime activities, including playground and snack times

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths
• Experience working with children and disabilities (professional, personal, or voluntary)
• Comfortable working with challenging behaviour and supporting personal care
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Own transport preferred due to location
