Job summary

East Ayton Primary School is seeking an inspirational, enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant to join our team. The role involves 1:1 support with a child in EYFS initially, within a nurturing environment that values well-being, learning and community involvement.

Visits to the school are welcomed; a fixed-term contract until Christmas 2026 is offered with term-time hours (22.5 per week, mornings).

Qualifications

• 1:1 support for a child in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
• Experience working with children with SEND is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with a child in EYFS initially.
• Contribute to a nurturing environment that supports pupil independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
• Support the well-being and development of pupils within a high-quality, caring school setting.

We are looking to appoint an inspirational, outstanding, enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant to join our experienced, happy and hardworking team working 1:1 with a child in EYFS initially.
