Position: Teaching Assistant, SEND TA, 1:1 support
Location:Dorking
Salary: £89.38 – £95.00
Start Date: ASAP

We’re partnering with a number of fantastic mainstream primary schools across Dorkingwho are looking for Teaching Assistants to provide nurturing, targeted support to all pupils.

Your Role as a TA in Primary:
Build positive, trusting relationships with children who may struggle with confidence, behaviour, or anxiety
Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups to build resilience, self-esteem and emotional understanding
️ Implement behaviour and wellbeing strategies to support learning and reduce disruption
Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to meet each child’s unique needs
Foster a safe, calm, and supportive environment where every child can succeed.

Experience working with children in schools.

A nurturing, consistent, and proactive approach
Great communication and teamwork skills
A strong desire to make a real difference in young lives
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
