Randstad Education is seeking a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to provide vital emotional, academic, and social guidance to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs in Horley. This is a full-time, term-time role starting in September with a daily rate of £88–£97.

You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, assist with IEPs, and help create a positive learning environment while monitoring progress and reporting to staff.

Qualificações

• 3–6 months of experience working in a school setting or supporting individuals with SEN/SEMH needs.
• Must be available for full‑time hours for the entire academic year starting in September.
• Must be a licensed driver with access to a vehicle due to the school's rural location and limited public transport links.
• Must have permanent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Essentials

• 3-6 months of experience working in a school setting or supporting individuals with SEN/SEMH needs. Highly transferable skills from care, youth work, or similar backgrounds will also be considered.
• Must be available for full-time hours for the entire academic year starting in September.
• Must be a licensed driver with access to a vehicle due to the school's rural location and limited public transport links.

Salary: £88 - £97 per day - This is a temporary / temporary to permanent role after a probation period

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 03:55 PM, Full time and term time - full academic year.
