Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in a secondary school in the Old Trafford (M32) area of Manchester.

You will support students across KS3 and KS4, work with teachers and pastoral staff to promote a positive learning environment, and help learners reach their potential. A proactive, adaptable approach and strong communication skills are essential; enhanced DBS will be required or obtained.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a secondary school.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and adaptable approach to supporting young people.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Teaching Assistant - Secondary School

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in a secondary school setting?

Teaching Personnel is working with various welcoming and supportive secondary schools in the Old Trafford (M32) area of Manchester, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students both inside and outside the classroom. You will help create a positive learning environment, provide targeted academic support, and assist pupils in reaching their full potential.
