Teaching Assistant – Key Stage 2 | Camden Primary School Start Date: After May Half Term Location: Mainstream Primary School, Camden Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Pay: From £89 per day (dependent on experience) A friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Camden is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team after the May half term. This is a full-time role supporting Key Stage 2 pupils, with a particular focus on students with additional needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down’s Syndrome. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support, helping students access the curriculum and reach their full potential. Your role will involve a mix of one-to-one support and general classroom assistance, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience supporting children with ASD and Down’s Syndrome in a school setting. You’ll need to be patient, empathetic, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of strategies to support children with additional needs is essential, as is a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
