Job Description:

GSL Education is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for various roles within school hours, including short-term, day-to-day, and long-term positions. These supply roles offer flexibility to fit your schedule. If you have the required skills, please apply now.

Responsibilities:

1. Support learning of children aged 1-11 (Nursery to Year 6).
2. Follow instructions from the class teacher.
3. Ensure children's safety.
4. Prepare classroom materials (cutting, sticking, photocopying, laminating).
5. Observe and give feedback on children's learning.
6. Manage off-task behaviors effectively.

Requirements:

1. Teaching Assistant Level 1, 2, or 3 qualifications are desirable but not essential.
2. Excellent practitioner with a focus on children's well-being.
3. High expectations for achievement and behavior.
4. Excellent communication and behavior management skills.
5. Experience working with children or in a caring role.
6. Transferable skills: teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, calmness, caring, helpfulness.
7. Right to work in the UK.
8. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be applied for through GSL Education).
9. Eligible to work in the UK or apply for a relevant visa.
