A highly-respected specialist school, based within a hospital in North London, is looking for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their staff in September on a full-time basis.
The Role
In this role, you will be based within the school's classrooms; however, you will also occasionally have the opportunity to go onto the ward if interested. This is an SEMH role, so the pupils you will work with have social, emotional, and mental health needs, such as anxiety, eating disorders, behavioral issues, depression, etc. You will never be left alone with the pupils and will always have support from the Teacher and other staff members within the classroom.
The school is seeking an SEMH Teaching Assistant with KS1 and KS2 experience, and someone with a strong academic background who can support very able pupils with SEMH needs.
This role is offered on a full-time contract from September 2024 to July 2025. The working hours are 9:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
