Job summary

Academics are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Warrington primary school. The role is part-time and temporary with long-term potential, supporting pupils across the primary age range.

You will work closely with class teachers to deliver 1:1 and small-group support, help with inclusive lessons, monitor progress and maintain a calm, safe learning environment. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary school environment.
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification desirable.
• Patient, adaptable and proactive.
• Confident supporting pupils across year groups.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support across EYFS to KS2.
• Support teachers with engaging and inclusive lessons.

Academics are currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Warrington area. This is a temporary, part-time position with the potential to develop into a longer-term role, offering the opportunity to support pupils across the primary age range.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant in Warrington, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils with their learning, development and day-to-day classroom needs.

• Providing 1:1, small-group and general classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
• Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and progress
• Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining a calm classroom environment
• Assisting with classroom routines, activities and learning resources
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff across the Warrington primary school
