Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant in Ware, Hertfordshire. The role is full-time, temp-perm for the right candidate, with a 8:30am–3:30pm schedule on Mondays and Fridays.

You will work with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range, helping create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child can succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience with children is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork are required.
• Patient, caring and reliable approach with pupils.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support to children across the primary age range. You will help create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued and able to succeed.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with their learning, both individually and in small groups.
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning.
• Supporting children with additional needs where appropriate.
• Promoting positive behaviour and strong relationships with pupils.
• Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school.
