Job summary

Aspire People are seeking Teaching Assistants to join us in the Skegness (PE25) area on a flexible basis. Roles cover both full-time and part-time opportunities, with potential 1-1 support depending on pupil needs.

Applicants should have prior UK TA experience or be currently training; strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability are essential to support pupils across the primary curriculum.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant in the UK is essential.
  • Interest in helping children reach their potential.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Patience and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to meet diverse student needs.
  • Basic administrative and organisational skills.
  • Level 2 TA qualification is desirable; Level 3 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support to teachers, assist with lesson prep and delivery.
  • Work with individuals or small groups to provide targeted support and interventions.
  • Help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and resource management.
  • Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities as required.
  • Supervise students during breaks and activities.
  • Foster positive relationships and student wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with staff and participate in professional development.

Aspire People are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to join us very soon on a FLEXIBLE basis in the Skegness (PE25) area.

Our schools are looking for a person/s to provide effective support to their pupils across the full primary curriculum on a day to day and long-term basis.

There are currently multiple opportunities available on both a full and part-time basis and if required may include elements of 1‑1 support depending on needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.
  • Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and managing classroom resources.
  • Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements.
  • Supervise students during break times, outings, and other activities as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their development and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is essential within the UK.
  • A genuine interest in working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Basic administrative and organisational skills.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification are desirable but not essential.
