Job summary

Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust seeks two Teaching Assistants Level 2 on a fixed-term basis at St Philip's Catholic Primary School. The role is 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only (39 weeks per year), until 31 August 2027.

You will support pupils under the teacher's supervision, help deliver programmes, maintain a safe learning environment, and contribute to classroom preparation and display work. The Trust reserves deployment flexibility across its schools.

Qualifications

• Able to work with groups of pupils under the supervision of the teacher.
• Commitment to creating a safe classroom and outdoor environment.
• Willingness to work as part of a team with a good sense of humour.

Responsibilities

• Work with groups of pupils under teacher guidance to deliver programmes of work.
• Assist the teacher to ensure a safe classroom and outdoor environment.
• Prepare the classroom for lessons, including display work and tidying afterwards.
• Supervise groups and occasionally whole classes for sessions in or outside the main teaching area.
• Demonstrate integrity, adapt to challenging situations, and be a team player.
