Job summary

Vida Education is seeking Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Lancashire and Cumbria. You will support lessons, prepare classrooms, manage behaviour and engage students both individually and in small groups.

The role requires a Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent experience, confident communication, and DBS compliance. We offer excellent pay, dedicated consultants, and access to CPD training courses.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Supporting Teaching and Learning) or at least 1 year TA experience in a school with references.

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher with delivering lessons.
• Prepare the classroom for lessons and set up equipment.
• Manage behaviour and engage students in their learning.
• Work with students one-to-one or in small groups outside the classroom.
• Support the teacher and students to help them succeed.
