Job summary

Anglian Learning is seeking a Teaching Assistant for The Shade Primary School. You will support teachers to improve pupil learning, promote independence, and foster social inclusion. The role involves working with individuals and small groups to help pupils access the curriculum.

The post is 32.5 hours per week, term time plus one week, with a start ASAP and the usual safeguarding expectations in a trusted educational Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school environment or other educational setting.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Ability to work with pupils individually and in groups.
• Willingness to engage with professional development.

Responsibilities

• Adapt learning activities for individuals or small groups.
• Deliver learning activities with groups who need a different approach.
• Support pupils with development needs as directed.
• Maintain records, track progress, assist planning and assessment.
• Promote safeguarding and inclusive practice.
