A specialist school in Wokingham for children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) is seeking a Teaching Assistant - Mental Health to work with children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 facing trauma, mental health, and behavioural challenges, including supporting Looked After Children.
This full-time role is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, or related fields, but relevant experience will also be considered. The school is based in Oxford, with excellent transport links across the city.
As a Teaching Assistant - Mental Health, you will collaborate with therapists and psychologists, gaining valuable experience working with children who have significant emotional and developmental needs.
