Job Description:

Prospero Teaching is currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a one-form entry Primary School in Portsmouth (PO2), rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils in groups and on a 1:1 basis under the guidance of the class teacher. Your role will also involve indoor and outdoor play duties.

Position: Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Location: Portsmouth (PO2)

Start Date: April 2025

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 15:30pm

Rate of Pay: £ per hour

Experience, Training, and Qualifications:

Must have Enhanced Child DBS on update service

Must have Right to Work in the UK

Must have experience working with children and young people

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
