Job summary

Ash Green School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils academically and pastorally during a fixed-term maternity cover. The role is term-time only, 30 hours per week over 38 weeks plus INSET days, with duties across classroom, pastoral and year-group settings in collaboration with teaching staff.

The post requires experience supporting young people, GCSE English and maths, and an enhanced DBS check; there is a commitment to a safe, inclusive learning environment and to positive pupil

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people in a school or transferable setting
• Numeracy and literacy at least GCSE level (A*-C/9-4)
• Strong organisational skills and time management
• Ability to handle competing priorities
