Job summary

Highburton CofE First Academy in England is seeking a Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Supervisor to join the team on a term-time, fixed-term basis for 1 year. The post combines two SCP roles: Teaching Assistant SCP 5-6 (27.50 hours per week) and Lunchtime Supervisor SCP 3 (2.5 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to our children.
• Assist with personal needs of pupils including social, health, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters.
• Assist with supervision of pupils to ensure safety and access to learning.
• Provide high level supervision and support in the classroom, dining hall and playground.
• Help develop social skills through play and promote physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Be dedicated, patient and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
• Work flexibly as part of a team and communicate at all levels.
