Job summary

Bishops Castle Primary School in the United Kingdom is seeking a flexible teaching assistant to support small groups and individual children in our classrooms. The role includes 1:1 work with children who have additional needs, and you will join a hardworking, supportive team.

Overview

We are ideally looking for someone who:

• Is suitably qualified through qualifications or experience
• Has recent experience working in the classroom with small groups and/or individual children
• Has experience working 1:1 with children who have additional needs
• Believes in giving every child the opportunity to be the best they can be
• Enjoys being part of a hardworking and committed team
• Is highly motivated and able to act on their own initiative
• Is patient, good humoured and flexible
• Has high aspirations for themselves and the children they work with
• Has the potential to develop

Working hours

Term time only – Monday to Friday 8.30am–3.30pm, made up of 26.25 hours per week TA and 5 hours lunchtime supervisor
