Job summary

St Mary and St Paul C of E Primary in Prescot is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 with SEN allowance to join the Stepping Stones SEND team. The role is 32.5 hours per week, 46 weeks per year, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, on a temporary basis for 12 months with a view to permanency.

The successful candidate will support SEND children, contribute to the school’s Christian ethos, and have Level 3 qualifications; Paediatric First Aid is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with a range of children with differing SEND needs.
• Certificate in Paediatric First Aid is highly desirable.
• Enthusiastic, passionate about working with SEND children.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND pupils within our Stepping Stones SEND team.
• Contribute to the broader life of the school and its Christian ethos.
• Assist with safeguarding and welfare of children.
