Job summary

St Mary's CofE First Academy in England is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to support pupils with additional needs and help them succeed academically, socially and emotionally. You will work closely with teachers to provide targeted support and remove barriers to learning.

You will contribute to a calm, respectful learning environment where pupils feel safe, valued and confident. The role requires adapting support to meet a range of needs, including SEND, and fostering pupil engagement

Job description

As a Teaching Assistant (Level 3) at St Mary's, part of St Chad’s Academies Trust, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional needs to succeed academically, socially and emotionally. Working closely with teachers and colleagues, you will provide targeted support to individuals, helping to remove barriers to learning and enabling pupils to achieve their potential.

You will contribute to a calm, respectful and purposeful learning environment built on trust and harmony, where pupils feel safe, valued and confident. Through your dedication and positive relationships, you will support pupils’ engagement, independence and enjoyment of learning, adapting support to meet a range of needs, including SEND.
