Job summary

Portland Spencer Academy in Bilborough, Nottingham, is seeking an enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. You will support learning across early years to KS2, contribute to PPA cover and help deliver outstanding teaching in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has relevant qualifications (NVQ/CACHE) and a passion for making a difference in children's lives, with strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills and the ability to build positive relationships with

Qualifications

• NVQ/CACHE in working with children as per DFE qualifications list.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning across EYFS to KS2.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding support for teaching and learning.
• Assist with short term whole class cover for PPA sessions.
• Promote positive behaviour and strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
