Job summary

Aspire People Limited is helping a welcoming primary school in Lancashire find a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support, deliver interventions and help pupils thrive.

The role focuses on supporting learning, assisting with SEND and behaviour, preparing resources and collaborating with teachers, SENDCOs and parents. A commitment to safeguarding and ongoing CPD is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Has experience working within a primary school.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within the classroom.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to improve pupil progress.
• Support pupils with SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs.
• Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
• Encourage positive behaviour through praise, consistency and effective behaviour management strategies.
• Support pupils with emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCOs and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to join a welcoming primary school where you can make a genuine impact on children's learning and development? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support, deliver interventions and help pupils thrive both academically and personally.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
