Job description

We are seeking to employ a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a relevant NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) on a temporary contract, to start on 1st September 2025.

The vacancy is based in KS2 initially and you will become an integral part of the team.You will work with achildon 1:1 basis some of the time, and at other times work with children of all abilities in a whole class setting as well as withdrawing individuals and small groups for focussedsupport.

We are looking for a TA who:

• Will work with children of all abilities in a whole class setting as well as withdrawing individuals and small groups for focused support.
• has had experience working in a primary school setting;
• has the ability to effectively support the learning and emotional needs of children;
• has a positive approach and a desire to understand and to support children’s needs;
• has high level literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE grade C or above);
• is flexible and adaptable;
• works well under direction, but also shows initiative and can take ownership of tasks;
• enjoys working as part of a team;
