Level 3 Teaching Assistant

(salary dependant on experience and/or qualifications)

About the role:

  • As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your role will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across a diverse range of subjects and year groups.
  • Your day to day will include individual/small group support for pupils, assisting with classroom management, and implementing behaviour management procedures. Additionally, you will be key to the planning and overall organisation of lessons, assessments, and learning resources with the guidance of teaching staff.
  • This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real positive influence on the education and ongoing development of students, whilst simultaneously gaining invaluable experience in the field of education.

About the school:

  • Youl will be working within a specialised learning/education environment dedicated to supporting students with communication, speech, and language needs.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in behaviour management and SEN support.

About you:

  • This position requires for the candidate to have achieved a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Skills key to this role include but not limited to: strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for working with children, experience working within an education setting and an in-depth understanding of the national curriculum is desirable.
