Job summary

Lime Academy Forest Approach, part of Lime Trust, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support class teachers and, on occasion, lead a class for short periods. The role focuses on delivering a personalised curriculum and promoting inclusive learning across a diverse cohort.

The position is term-time (32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks) and requires an Enhanced DBS check and willingness to undergo child protection screening. Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Help create a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment
• Provide expertise to deliver a personalised curriculum for each learner
• Promote inclusion so all learners have equal opportunities to learn and develop
• Build respectful, considerate relationships with learners
• Work with families and other agencies so every learner is valued, challenged and supported
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in the school
• Support learners' social, emotional, physical and communication development, preparing them for adult life
• Promote best practice and contribute to the aims and ethos of the Trust and school

Job description

This Teaching Assistant post sits within the teaching and learning team at Lime Academy Forest Approach, one of the schools in Lime Trust, a multi academy trust. The work centres on supporting class teachers, including leading a class for short periods, and delivering a personalised curriculum for each learner. The role is term time, 32.5 hours a week over 39 weeks, and works alongside the Senior Leadership Team. Visa sponsorship is not available, and an Enhanced DBS check is required before appointment.
