Job summary

Alice Ingham RC Primary School is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the teaching support team on a permanent basis. The role supports the teacher and includes delivering and evaluating learning activities, including whole-class work, under supervision.

The post is part-time (32.5 hours/week, 8:30am–3:30pm) during term time plus one day, start ASAP, with a closing date of 1 November 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to a welcoming, safeguarding-focused learning environment

Job description

Post Title: Teaching Assistant Level 3

Responsible to: Head Teacher

Location: Alice Ingham RC Primary School

Salary: Grade 5 scp 12 17 Actual Salary £22,055 - £23,925 (£29,542-£32,046 FTE)

Term of Contract: Permanent

Working pattern: Term Time Only +1 day

Hours per week: Part Time 32½ hours per week (8.30am-3.30pm)

Start date: ASAP

Alice Ingham RC Primary School are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

The main duties of this role is to work with guidance to support teaching and learning support to the teacher. There will be an expectation of delivering and evaluating some teaching and learning activities including whole classes, under the direction of a teacher.
