Job summary

Maryvale Catholic Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our friendly team. This part-time role (0.8 FTE) supports pupils aged 3–11, assists with intervention and booster groups, and provides aid to pupils with SEND within the classroom.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team, build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents, and may benefit from knowledge of Read Write Inc. (RWI) phonics to support early literacy development.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND and strategies to support pupils one-to-one and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils aged 3 to 11 across the classroom.
• Assist with intervention and booster groups to meet individual needs.
• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
