Job summary

The St John Paul II Multi Academy is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our caring school community in Birmingham. You will support pupils, including those with SEND, and assist with intervention and booster groups within the classroom.

We welcome someone who can work 0.8 FTE, is enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to helping children reach their full potential in a Catholic education setting.

Qualifications

• Be confident working with children aged 3 to 11 years.
• Experience of, or good understanding of, SEND and strategies to support pupils one-to-one and in small groups.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and show initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support disadvantaged pupils through intervention and booster groups.
• Provide assistance to pupils with SEND within the classroom.
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupil achievement.
