Job summary

St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Dukinfield is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 SAN on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, term-time only over 39 weeks per year, including inset days.

The successful candidate will support students who require help to overcome barriers to learning, with experience of high needs, EHCPs and SEND. They will deliver targeted support and work within a Catholic multi-academy trust, with opportunities for CPD.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with high needs, EHCPs and SEND.
• Ability to support students to overcome barriers to learning.
• Ability to deliver therapy programmes of work and ILPs under supervision.

Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 SAN at St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Dukinfield, on a fixed-term basis until 31st August 2027.

The position will be full-time for 35 hours per week on a term-time only basis over 39 weeks a year (to include Inset days).

We particularly welcome applications from candidates who have experience of working with children with high needs, EHCPs and a variety of SEND needs.
