Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council in Aberystwyth is seeking a temporary part-time Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in Ysgol Penglais. You will run interventions for small groups and assist in the classroom to help students access the curriculum.

The successful candidate will work in a busy school environment, use initiative to ensure progress, and contribute to an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere.

Your work will involve supporting students who have a wide spectrum of ALN needs by running a variety of interventions to small groups of students as well as supporting students in the classroom to allow them to effectively access their curriculum.The right candidate will enjoy working in a busy environment. You will be required to use your own initiative to ensure that students can access the curriculum and that they are making good progress in their learning.
