Job summary

Don Valley Academy is recruiting a Teaching Assistant Level 2 on a permanent, part-time basis to support learning and classroom management under teachers and senior staff.

You will work in or beyond the classroom, assisting with access to learning for pupils; the role includes pro rata holiday entitlement of 35 days and opportunities for professional development through Delta Academies Trust CPD programmes.

Responsibilities

• You will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
• You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
