Job summary

Cheetwood Primary School, part of Manchester City Council, is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support EYFS learning through play, language development, and early development. The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week), with a salary of £26,427–£26,847 per annum.

You will deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote curiosity and resilience in young learners.

Qualifications

Cheetwood Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and nurturing team.

The successful candidate will primarily work within our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting high-quality learning through play, communication, and early development.

About the Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • A Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or an equivalent Level 2 Award)
