Job summary

Sacred Heart RC Primary School (Westhoughton) is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 with SNA allowance to support a pupil with an EHC plan. The role is term time with 5 additional days and a 27.08-hour week, starting ASAP. The salary ranges from £16,825 to £18,219 per annum, plus an SNA allowance of £996 per annum.

The appointment is temporary until 31 August 2027. We are a supportive Catholic school where staff work together to raise achievement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting teaching and learning of pupils, preferably in primary education.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors to support activities.
• Willingness to contribute to a Catholic school ethos and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching and learning support for a pupil with an Education Health & Care Plan.
• Work as part of a hard-working team to deliver high standards of behaviour and learning.

The Governing Body of our successful and popular school are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 + SNA allowance to provide support for teaching and learning of a pupil with an Education Health & Care Plan.
