Job summary

Eatock Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SNA) to support a pupil on a one-to-one basis in Key Stage 2. The role is fixed term until Summer 2027, starting October 2026, with 31 hours per week during term time. Actual salary is Grade D scp 6-11 (£18,207 – £19,715 per annum).

The successful candidate will join a supportive leadership team and a friendly staff, work with well-behaved children, and have access to professional development opportunities.

Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SNA) required from October 2026

We are looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to join our Key Stage Two team in our ‘Outstanding’ school to support a pupil who requires one to one support.

Status: Fixed term until Summer 2027 initially

Start Date: To be agreed

Hours: 31 hours per week (Term Time Only)

Actual Salary: Grade D scp 6-11 £18,207 - £19,715 per annum

Working Pattern: 8.35am 3.20pm Monday to Friday

We require a teaching assistant who will:

• Provide one to one support for a child in Key Stage 2
• Have high expectations for achievement and behaviour
• Be enthusiastic and motivated
• Be committed to team working
