Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Contract: 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Towcester Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of the market town of Towcester. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team and our ideal candidate is someone who has:

• Previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment.
• A good awareness of SEN
• Experience of working with pupils who have communication and language difficulties,
• Good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team.
• Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
• Ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents.
• Personal commitment to on-going professional development.
