Our outstanding school covers the ages 4-11 and is two-form entry, accommodating approximately 425 children. The school is in the suburb of Totley in South Sheffield, on the edge of the Peak District.
The role
Totley Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, talented, and caring candidate to join our team as a teaching assistant level 2. This role is fixed term for one year.
This role involves working as part of a team of teaching assistants and alongside class teachers to assist with the teaching and support of children to provide high-quality provision. Some children you work with may have specific needs, including autism, ADHD, learning and speech difficulties, and social, emotional, and behavioral needs. You will be required to understand and support children facing these barriers, while also working broadly with a diverse range of children.
