Lady Lumley’s Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our team in September 2026 on a permanent basis. Working under the supervision of teaching staff, you will support pupils to access learning and help manage the classroom.

Hours are 32.5 per week, term-time only plus 5 days (39 weeks). The salary ranges from £19,721.93 pro‑rata to £26,824 full-time equivalent depending on pro‑rata and experience. Visits welcomed by appointment.

Lady Lumley’s Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy in September 2026 on a permanent basis.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Salary: Grade D Points 6 to 8 (£25,989 to £26,824 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro‑rata. The minimum actual pro‑rata salary per annum for this job starts at £19,721.93.

Hours: 32.5 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 days (39 weeks).
