Job summary

Dean Trust Ardwick is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support learning and pupil care within a dedicated school team in Manchester. The role works under guidance from teaching staff to enable access to learning and assist with classroom management.

Key tasks include supervising pupils, supporting those with special needs, and helping implement Personal Care and Behaviour plans while promoting inclusion and positive student development.

Job description

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Dean Trust Ardwick.

The core purpose of the role will be to work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Key responsibilities:

1. Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities


2. Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes
