Job summary

Millwood Primary Special School is seeking a conscientious teaching assistant (level 2) to support pupils with significant additional educational needs. You will work under the guidance of the classroom teacher to deliver programmes and therapies as part of an inclusive team.

The role emphasises warmth, resilience and organisation to create a safe, nurturing learning environment within a state-of-the-art facility, including hydrotherapy pool and therapy equipment.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check (satisfactory)
• Barred List check completed
• Two references provided
• Occupational health assessment
• Right to work in the UK
• Online background check as per KCSIE 2025

Millwood School is set in a spacious, state‑of‑the‑art facility that includes a hydrotherapy pool, specialist play and therapy equipment, and extensive grounds.

• Work across the school as part of a team, under the guidance of the classroom teacher, to implement agreed programmes of study, therapy programmes and individual behaviour plans.

Requirements
