Job summary

Lowton West Primary School in Lowton, Warrington is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. The role is 28 hours per week, term time (38 weeks) with a Grade 3 salary of £16,722 per annum (£13.70 per hour) and temporary status until 31 March 2027.

The successful candidate will work closely with staff, parents and outside agencies, follow Individual Care Plans and Education Plans, and support the Class Teacher and all pupils while promoting

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1:1 support with additional needs.
• Ability to follow Individual Care Plans and IEPs.
• Good safeguarding awareness and procedures.
• Ability to build relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.

We are looking for someone who will:

• Be able to cater for the individual needs of the child and support other pupils
• Follow Individual Care Plans and Individual Education Plans
• Establish good relationships and team working with the wider school community
