Job summary

Hardy Mill C P School in Bradshaw is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Grade D) to support a child with special educational needs. The post is 28.5 hours per week, term-time only, with a fixed term contract to August 2027, SCP6 to SCP11 (£26,847 to £29,071) plus SNA allowance pro rata.

The successful candidate should be hardworking, a good team player and hold at least a GNVQ2, with English and Maths at level 2. Experience with primary SEN is desirable.

The governors’ of Hardy Mill Primary are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant (TA2) Grade D to support a child with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will:

• be hardworking and have experience of working as part of a successful team;
• be qualified to at least GNVQ 2 and have good skills in English and Maths to level 2 standard;
• preferably have some experience of working with children with special needs in a primary setting.
