Job summary

Sharples School in Bolton seeks qualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEND under the guidance of the AHT SEND. The role offers permanent, part-time positions with generous benefits and the Local Government Pension scheme.

• Assist in the delivery of provision as outlined in pupils' statements of special educational needs and individual education/behaviour plans.
• Work under the direction of the AHT SEND to support learning and inclusion.
• Provide personal, intimate care as required and contribute to safeguarding in line with policy.

Governors are seeking to appoint qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants to work under the direction/guidance of the AHT SEND to assist in the delivery of the provision as outlined in pupils’ statements of special educational needs and individual education/behaviour plans/personal, intimate care. We would welcome applications from graduates who are seeking in school experience prior to commencing teacher training.
