Job summary

Hampton Gardens Secondary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across lessons and provide midday supervision at lunchtime on a fixed-term contract to 31 August 2027. You will support students individually and in small groups, including those with SEND, and help run a calm, well-managed lunchtime.

Working with the SENDCo and inclusion team, you will support literacy, numeracy and classroom activities, helping teachers engage learners and maintain a positive environment.

Job description

A combined post at Hampton Gardens Secondary School, covering Teaching Assistant work in lessons and Midday Supervision at lunchtime, on a fixed-term contract to 31 August 2027 in the first instance. The work centres on supporting students individually and in small groups, including those with SEND, and running a calm, well-run lunchtime. Hours are 8.30am to 3.10pm in term time plus a short midday session, alongside the SENDCo and inclusion team. Visa sponsorship is not available, and an enhanced DBS check is required.
