Job summary

Meadow Green Primary School is seeking a Level 1 teaching assistant and lunchtime supervisor on a fixed-term basis to the end of the academic year. The role involves supporting pupils in class, one-to-one, in groups, or as a whole class, and includes a daily dinner-hall duty from 11.30am to 1pm.

Appointment is conditional on a satisfactory DBS check due to Rehabilitation of Offenders Act exemption. A warm, supportive environment and opportunities for professional development are offered.

• GCSE English & Maths (A-C/4-9) or equivalent.
• Previous experience of working with pupils in a school.

Job description

A Level 1 teaching assistant and lunchtime supervisor post at Meadow Green Primary School, offered on a fixed term to the end of the academic year in the first instance. Most of the work is supporting pupils in class, one to one, in groups or as a whole class. The role is part-time at 18 hours 20 minutes a week and includes a daily dinner-hall duty from 11.30am to 1pm. Appointment is conditional on a satisfactory DBS check, as the post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
