Trent View College in Scunthorpe is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 1) to support students with SEN/SEMH needs. The role involves preparing classrooms, assisting with learning activities, and helping teachers manage behaviour in a busy educational setting.
The ideal candidate has school experience, GCSE Maths and English, and a willingness to develop further qualifications relevant to the post. Term-time work with fixed hours and additional inset days is offered.

Under the guidance of senior staff, Teaching Assistants play an important role in supporting the academic and personal development of students both in and out of the classroom. The role includes getting the classroom ready for lessons, supporting students in the community, helping students who need extra support, helping teachers plan learning activities and complete records, supporting teachers in managing class behaviour, supervising group activities and looking after students who are upset or have had accidents.
