Job summary

St James CE Primary School in Hereford is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (Level 1) to join our supportive team. Under the guidance of the class teacher, you will help with the education, care and welfare of pupils and assist in preparing resources and running small group activities both inside and outside the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have some experience with children, be flexible and a good team player, and be committed to an inclusive ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (paid or voluntary)
• Flexible, calm and able to work as part of a team
• Committed to supporting an inclusive school ethos
• Willing to undertake relevant training
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check
