Elton High School in Bury is seeking a Teaching Assistant – Level 3 (Grade 7) to provide high quality support for students with physical disabilities so they can access a full school life and progress in learning across KS3 and KS4. The post is 29.35 hours per week during term time, with 3 additional days worked during school closures.

Governors of this popular, successful and oversubscribed 11-16 High School are seeking to appoint a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant – Level 3 (Grade 7) to provide support for students with physical disabilities so that they are able to access a full school life in order to progress and develop. Achievement of SEN students has improved in recent years, but we cannot become complacent and need to develop our provision further, making full use of all available resources whilst meeting the statutory requirements for appropriate SEN provision.

The successful applicant will be employed to work 29.35 hours per week term time only (plus 3 additional days worked during periods of school closure).
