Job summary

The Grange is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support primary pupils through outdoor learning and hands-on activities. You will work with Key Stage 2 pupils, assist with SEND and social, emotional, and mental health needs, and help them access learning in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in Key Stage 2.
• Outdoor learning and practical activities experience preferred.

• Support small groups of children during lessons and outdoor activities.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in Key Stage 2.

Enjoys outdoor learning and practical activities.

Is patient, positive, flexible and enthusiastic.

Can build strong, supportive relationships with children.

Understands that some children need a different approach to help them succeed.

Is confident supporting small groups and encouraging positive behaviour.

Is a reliable team player with a genuine passion for helping children achieve.

Experience supporting children with SEND or social, emotional and mental health needs would be desirable. An interest in Forest School or outdoor education would also be welcomed, although no specialist qualification is required.
